Kimpton Naluria Kuala Lumpur is celebrating its first Mid Autumn Festival in Malaysia with Celestial Duality 星月之境, a contemporary mooncake collection inspired by the beauty of contrasts and the tradition of reunion.
The new collection is now available for pre order, with four handcrafted mooncake flavours paired with locally roasted coffee from Malaysian coffee brands.
A Modern Take on Mid Autumn Gifting
The Celestial Duality collection takes inspiration from the moon and features a distinctive keepsake case made up of two contrasting halves.
One side has a textured finish inspired by the moon’s cratered surface, while the other features smooth curves inspired by moonlight. When placed together, the two halves form a briefcase inspired box, symbolising the coming together of family, friends and loved ones during the Mid Autumn Festival.
Four Mooncake Flavours to Try
Inside the RM248 nett collection are four signature mooncake flavours:
- Classic Red Bean
- White Lotus with Single Yolk
- Golden Starlight with lotus seed paste, mung bean paste and pandan
- Momoyama Black Tea with Mung Bean
The collection also includes four Curate Coffee capsules and four Ghostbird Coffee drip bags, making it suitable for both personal gifting and corporate gifts.
